The AP 2000-TS Induction Cap Sealing System is designed to create a hermetic seal over the mouth of jars or bottles. This sealing process enhances product integrity by offering tamper evidence, preserving freshness, preventing pilferage, and ensuring leak protection during transportation and handling.
The system uses specialized plastic caps that contain an aluminum foil liner. Once the cap is securely tightened onto the bottle, it passes beneath an induction sealing coil. The coil emits an electromagnetic field that heats the aluminum foil. The laminated coating on the foil softens and bonds to the bottle’s mouth, forming a secure and reliable seal.
